These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of QuickEvents, an event management platform where businesses list and sell tickets for their events. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Account Registration
- Businesses must create an account to list events and sell tickets.
- You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and up-to-date information during registration and keep it current.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
2. Event Listings and Responsibilities
- You may list and promote events on our platform subject to compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
- You retain full responsibility for the content, legality, accuracy, and fulfilment of your events.
- QuickEvents reserves the right to review, suspend, or remove any event listing deemed inappropriate, unlawful, or infringing.
- Event organisers must ensure compliance with all local regulations and venue policies.
3. Fees and Payments
- We may charge service or transaction fees, disclosed clearly at the time of event listing.
- Payouts will be processed promptly to your linked Stripe account, less any applicable fees.
- It is your responsibility to ensure your payment details are accurate and up to date.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
- You must clearly state your refund and cancellation policies within each event listing.
- QuickEvents is not responsible for refund processing unless explicitly agreed in writing.
- Refund requests should be handled directly by the event organiser in accordance with their stated policies.
5. User Conduct
- You agree not to post fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content on the platform.
- Uploading viruses, malware, or any harmful code or engaging in activities that disrupt the platform are strictly prohibited.
- Users must comply with all applicable laws and respect the rights of others.
6. Platform Availability
- We strive to ensure the platform is available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
- Maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen issues may result in temporary suspension or limitations of service.
- QuickEvents reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service without prior notice.
7. Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of your event content, including text, images, and media you upload.
- By submitting content, you grant QuickEvents a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content solely for the purposes of operating the platform.
- All other platform content, trademarks, and technology are owned or licensed by QuickEvents.
8. Limitation of Liability
- QuickEvents does not guarantee the success, legality, safety, or performance of any event listed.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuickEvents disclaims all liability for damages arising from your use of the platform or any listed events.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
9. Termination
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms or illegal conduct.
- You may request account deletion by contacting us in writing; certain data may be retained as required by law.
10. Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time; changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
- Continued use of the platform following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
- We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Ticket Purchases by Users
- Users purchasing tickets via QuickEvents enter into a direct contract with the event organiser.
- All ticket pricing, event details, and refund policies are determined solely by the organiser.
- QuickEvents is not liable for cancelled, postponed, or altered events.
- Refunds or disputes relating to tickets must be resolved directly with the event organiser.
- Users must provide accurate personal and payment details when purchasing tickets.
- Tickets are delivered digitally and must be used in accordance with organiser instructions.
- Resale of tickets may be restricted or prohibited by event organisers and may result in ticket cancellation.
